Charitable giving - Female pro soccer players making a difference in their community

Back in 2002 I had the pleasure of working on Monica Gonzalez while with the Boston Breakers. Monica also did double duty as a starting player for the Women's Mexican National team. Over the years it's been great watching her development as a player as well as seeing her become a true game changer in the soccer community.
Recently, Monica started a soccer and leadership academy in Chicago that provides girls ages 8-16 in underserved communities premier soccer training, academic assistance and valuable life skills that will foster their growth and empower them to reach their full potential as athletes and students.
Having the opportunity to participate in sport can change the course of a young girl's life, instill confidence and most importantly inspire her to reach her full potential.
If you're looking for a worthwhile charitable cause this holiday season please consider donating to Gonzo Soccer to help give young, disadvantaged youth a greater opportunity to succeed. All donations are fully deductible.
Thanks so much!
